1. Is RERA something like the Consumer Court, or like a Civil Court, lengthy procedures, time-consuming, a high cost of the lawyers?
2.If an earlier project, construction completed, but necessary approvals like cc, permission for occupancy, etc, not obtained seek RERA.

It is like a consumer court and will solve builder-buyer disputes within 120 days. If the project is ongoing, you can claim under RERA as all ongoing projects (builders) have to be registered with RERA and tell customers by when they will finish the project. If the project is completed already then cannot seek RERA.

Dear Ashok and Naveen,
RERA is pretty much like fast track court where Authority will first identify weather issue comes under RERA jurisdiction or not. If it under RERA , Authority will appoint an adjudicating officer to handle that case. RERA Complaint only can be raised online. you can challenge the verdict of adjudicating officer also to the Honorary Appellate Tribunal.
For a specific issue , you can send information to firstname.lastname@example.org. Our Legal expert will guide you sanely.
